I've been meaning to do this post about the Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme* ages, it's been on my back burner to post list but it constantly getting switched around due to my lack of organising. However it's time has come and the delay in post just means I've had the opportunity to thoroughly test it out and fall in love with it even more.
I got the Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme* when i was kindly sent a few items from Justmylook and this has definitely been the one item I've used the most - i just love it. I'm really enjoying matte liquid lipsticks at the moment, i find myself reaching for them above all my other lip products and this has quickly become my favourite.
It has a nice creamy formula; it applies to the lips really easily and at first, it does feel like it might be tacky or dry the lips out but once it's fully dry you can't even feel it on the lips even when you press your lips together. If you have really dry lips, I'd definitely recommend using a scrub before hand because i think this will pick up on it - i can just about get away without scrubbing my lips but it's definitely something to consider.
I choose the shade Adorable which is a brown toned nude pink - i own a lot of deep nude shades but this is unlike any i have in my collection, it's quite an unusual colour as it's not quite pink but not quite brown - it's almost a mauve shade. Well i think, i seem to call everything mauve these days.
I did try to get some photos of me wearing it to include in this post as i always think you get a better idea of what a lip products looks like when someones wearing it but sadly, my upper lip needs waxing (yep, this is real life folks( and it was visible to me on the photos so i scrapped them.
I've worn this a lot - daytime, night time, through drinking and eating, the only thing i can't comment on is the kiss test (woe is me) but this lasts ages on the lips and you can get away with reapplying it because it just doesn't budge It's not too bad with drinking either, it does start to fade slightly but with eating the inside rim of your mouth does fade alot - thankfully though, this applies nicely even when you reapply it, the layers sit nicely without getting that thick and clumpy feeling that some liquid lipsticks do.
I'm really impressed with this liquid lipstick and i really want to try some more shades (when my make up spending ban is over) because it has a really lovely formula and i really like that i can't feel it on my lips, i also really like the packaging of these, so simple yet classy looking.
Have you tried any of the Milani Amore Matte Lip Cremes?
