March | Monthly Favourites

March is almost over (how?!) and Spring is finally here. I have a love/hate relationship with Spring - i love that everyone is in a better mood, the sun is shining and flowers are blooming but it also means summer is on its way and i don't love summer. It's warm, it's sweaty and i never know what to wear (first world problems!) Anyways, I feel like this month has been a mix of trying new products and rediscovering some old ones.

Heartless by Marissa Meyer

Heartless by Marissa Meyer

It's very rare that i dedicate a whole post to one book; i love reading and always feature books in my recently read series on my blog but i often feel like i don't have enough to say about each book to justify a full post.

However, i recently read Heartless by Marissa Meyer and i just felt like it really deserved its own post.

Shopping the Stash | Spring Edit

It's so exciting that Spring is finally here; whilst i love Autumn (not so much winter) it's nice to see flowers start to bloom and hopefully soon the sun will start to shine! Now i love the bold, dark make up tones that come out during Autumn/Winter and no doubt i will continue to wear them but i decided to have a little shop through my collection and pick out some 'Spring Items' to use throughout Spring.

Simple, Dainty Jewellery by JewelleryBox

Simple, Dainty Jewellery by JewelleryBox

I don't own a lot of jewellery both costume or expensive pieces as it's not something i wear a lot of except for nights out or special occasions. However, the pieces i do like to wear are very simple, dainty and quirky.

I was recently contacted by the lovely people from Jewellerybox.co.uk - before I'd even looked at the website, i was genuinely going to turn it down because i just assumed it wasn't going to be jewellery that I'd wear but i decided to have a look at the site anyways and oh my god, it is filled with all the style of jewellery that i absolutely love and they very kindly sent a few pieces over for me to try and to show you.

Barry M Matte Me Up Liquid Lip Paints

I definitely did not need any more lipsticks; my collection is absolutely ridiculous for one face but i kept seeing so many good reviews about these Barry M Matte Me Up Liquid Lip Paints that i was very tempted to try them for myself.

Bold Lip Colours; Black, Blue & Green

Bold Lip Colours; Black, Blue & Green

Recently, there seems to be quite a craze of bright quirky lip colours and normally I'd turn a blind eye and avoid it like the plaque but I've found myself obsessed with wanting to try some of these bold, quirky lip colours so i found myself on Superdrug ordering myself some.

Not to long ago i mentioned a few products I'd received from Justmylook..co.uk to update my make up bag, one of those was the Milani Conceal & Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation and Concealer* - I'd heard quite a few great things about this foundation so i was beyond excited to try it out.

Technic Cosmetics

Technic Cosmetics

Technic Cosmetics is brand that i feel is often overlooked by many people, including myself. Lately though, I've seen Lauren McVeigh talk about Technic products on her youtube channel so when i saw they were looking for some bloggers to review their products, i jumped at the chance and i was very kindly sent a selection of their products to try out.

February | Recently Read #14

February is usually the month i hit my reading slump; i try so hard to get a head start in January that come February i tend to slump so the fact I've read 3 books this month is pretty impressive for me. My nan also very kindly gave me her old Kindle this month which despite the fact i always said I'd never get one, I'm actually really loving it!
