My Five Most Used Highlighters

My Five Most Used Highlighters

Like most people, highlighting is a staple part of my make up routine - in fact, i don't feel finished if I'm not wearing highlighter. Over the years, my highlighter collection has grown quite a bit so i thought I'd share with you the ones i use the most.

My Five Most Used Highlighters

Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette
This highlighter is no strange from the beauty blogging world; it's a gorgeous palette with three powders and one cream highlighter. Now, i barely use this cream highlighter but the powders i love. I use a mix of the three sometimes individually or sometimes all at once. They're stunning, pigmented and leave the most amazing glow on the skin.

Make Up Academy Undress Your Skin Highlighter
This is one of the first highlighters i bought and for the longest time it was the only one i used - it's a pink toned highlighter and it's stunning, i always get so many compliments when i wear this and if you are on a budget - i would highly recommend it. I believe it's around £3 and they have so many others tones available now.

My Five Most Used Highlighters

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer
This is another highlighter that is no stranger to the beauty blogging world and again, for good reason this is gorgeous. It's the most expensive highlighter out of all the ones I've included in the post but it is well worth the money. It's a gorgeous almost golden tone highlighter and it's so pretty, it gives you that gorgeous subtle glow.

Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Kit*
I am obsessed with this little sculpting kit - i got sent this ages and its funny because i would never have picked this up myself and it's actually proved to be one of my most used products, i use it daily whether its the highlighter, blush or contour. So the kit itself is well worth looking into if you are looking for a cheaper sculpting palette. This highlighter is one of my everyday highlighters - it's quite subtle but it still gives you a really lovely glow, it's just a bit more wearable for everyday. I also really like using this as an eyeshadow sometimes if i just want something to brighten up my eyes.

Make Up Obsession Highlighter in Moon
This is hands down my absolutely favourite highlighter - it is very intense so i tend to save this more for nights out and special occasions rather than everyday wear but if you like a pigmented and intense glow, you should looking into this. It's a white/silver toned pink highlighter - i don't know if that makes any sense as it's quite a hard shade to describe but it's so pretty. I cant help but feel fabulous when i wear this and it takes barely any product to achieve an intense glow.

What highlighters do you use the most?

  2. The Solstice palette has become such a staple, it's so pretty. I really miss my Mary Lou-Manizer, I accidentally smashed mine a while ago.
