Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Quite recently i received one of the most exciting emails from Urban Decay. It was a very surreal moment hearing from Urban Decay and them telling me they'd like to send me their new/revamped Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray*. Excited was not the word.

I've never tried the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray before, but it has actually been on my wish list and i was planning on picking one up when i went to London in September (I'm planning to treat myself A LOT) but now I'm really glad I've had the opportunity to try it out first.

I've actually only ever tried two setting sprays before - one from Collection and one from MUA, neither of which really made much of a difference to my make up. However, I've heard so many good reviews about the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray that i was very intrigued to see how well it works and if i would love it as much as everyone else does.

Firstly, can we just appreciate how stunning the packaging of this is? It's so cool, sleek and edgy yet it still manages to have a luxurious feel to it.

I like to use this once I've done all my make up except for my lipstick (mostly because i usually still haven't decided which one to wear by now) but you shake the bottle, hold about 8-10inches away from your face and spray 3-4 times in a either a X or T formation. I personally tend to apply it in a X formation; this is just the way i first applied it and I've continued to do so, i don't think it matters which one you do - the X covers more of your face whereas the T concentrates more on the t-zone.

I've been testing this a lot recently especially on nights out - i like to wear a full face of make up but no matter what come the end of the night, I'm usually looking a little worse for wear and apart from lipstick i don't really top up my make up mostly because I'm too lazy and can't be bothered but i have to say, since using the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, i have noticed a big difference in how long my make up lasts.

The first time i used it, i inspected my make up at the end of the night and it had barely moved, the only thing that had really smudged was the pencil eyeliner i was wearing but I've given up hope on finding one that doesn't move at all. This setting spray instantly impressed me and every time I've used it since, my make up has stayed in place for so much longer then before - i honestly don't know how it does it but if you are on the market for a setting spray I'd definitely recommend looking into Urban Decay's ones.

It's not the cheapest of products - £10 for 30ml or £23.50 for 118ml but i would quite happily repurchase this product. I think I'd mostly buy the 30ml one, because it's a really compact size so it would be perfect for storing (I'm short on space) and also, for travelling.

I'm head over heels for this product and i am so so grateful for Urban Decay for gifting this to me - it's definitely going to be a staple in my collection, especially throughout the summer when my sweaty face tries to ruin my make up.

Have you tried the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray?

  2. UUUUUGH I wish something like this would happen to me, ha! I can never justify the price of Urban Decay (on my budget anyways). This sounds amazing! I've tried a few primers lately and they're all a bit rubbish, having oily skin doesn't help either! Fab post though lovely!
