MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighters in Pearlescent Sheen & Ice Sparkle

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighters in Pearlescent Sheen & Ice Sparkle

I've had a last minute change of plan with today's post - i wasn't happy with the original idea so I'm going to post about two beautiful highlighters that have recently come into my collection.

I'm already familiar with the formula and quality of the MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighters as i already own and love the Pink Shimmer one but since MUA have expanded their range and released a beautiful range of shades i wanted to try some more. The powder is beautifully embellished and it almost looks baked, they apply beautifully, sit really nicely on the skin and blend out easily too.

They aren't as intensely pigmented as some highlighters but don't be fooled as they really do pack a punch. In fact compared to most of my highlighters (including my expensive ones) i always get the most compliments whenever I'm wearing one of these. They're only £3 too so they're really affordable, the packaging isn't amazing but that doesn't bother me too much because they quality of the product itself is so good. If you are on the look out for an affordable highlighter, then i definitely recommend looking into these.

Ice Sparkle | Pearlescent Sheen

At the time i bought these they were 2 for £5 so i picked up Pearlescent Sheen and Ice Sparkle.

Ice Sparkle is the one i had my eye on first, as the fact it was blue just really really intrigued me. I don't know what it is about unusual shades but they just draw me in. It actually doesn't apply all that blue, in fact it has more of a silver/grey tone to it. It's so pretty, it's definitely a bit bolder then your average highlighter in terms of the shades, but it's not too intense - it's wearable and i really like it.

My favourite out of the two and the one I've worn the most is Pearlescent Sheen - i picked this shade out on a complete whim because i needed another one to go with the offer and i felt very little could go wrong with it's a white toned highlighter but when i first applied this it actually blew me away - it's pigmented without being too intense but it has the most stunning blue iridescent tone running through it. I did not expect it at all but it is honestly beautiful - i really don't think these swatch photos do it justice.

I absolutely love these highlighters; they're such good quality and so affordable too - i honestly couldn't recommend them enough.

Have you tried the MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighters?

  1. These highlighters look amazing! I've seen so many reviews on them lately, just a shame i'm too lazy to go into town and get them, aha! (I'm too impatient to wait for delivery) *insert heart eyes emoticon*
