Shopping the Stash #5

Shopping the Stash #4

I found it quite difficult picking out this months selection because i have a few new products that i want to use - such as my Superdrug Highlighters and the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette (review coming very soon) so i didn't want to pick products out that would just get neglected because I'm playing with new items - otherwise it'd defeat the object of shopping my stash, so I've picked out a couple of items that i will be able to incorporate in my routine.

Shopping the Stash #4

Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua Foundation
This is hands down one of my all time favourite foundations, i stopped using it for a little while because i knew that it was coming to an end but I've really missed using it so i decided to get it back out. Since taking these photos i have actually used this up and I'm gutted as it's not the cheapest of foundations but i definitely hope to repurchase it in the future. It's a very light weight water based foundation - perfect for the summery months because it not heavy on the skin. It's easy to build up if you need extra coverage and it just leaves you with a lovely natural finish.

H&M Colour Essence Eye Pencil in Raw Umber
I bought this ages ago and I've barely used it. It's a like a rusty brown kind of shade - it's really pretty and the eyeliner itself is very creamy, it just glides along the skin. Shade wise it's probably not the most summery shade but i think this will be quite nice to use to line my eyes - possibly even smoke it out, if i want something less intense than black.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black ink
I really like this and it's frustrating me that it's just sitting in my drawer waiting to be loved. The problem is I'm yet to find the perfect brush to go with this because everyone I've tried, haven't been the easiest to work with so this month I'm determined to find that perfect brush and get this back in to my routine. As it can give you the most intense black eyeliner and once it's in place, it does not budge and with the weather we've been having that is exactly what we need.

Collection Work the Colour Lip Butter in Cappuchino
This used to be one of my everyday lipsticks - it's a really pretty sheer nude shade so it'd give your lips a subtle shine and pop of colour. As it's a lip butter the formula is nice and moisturising on the lips, not the most long lasting mind but for day to day wear i can deal with that. When it's quite sunny, i like wearing make up but I'm all for simplicity and this is one of those easy, simple lip products.

Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot O' Blushes
I love Benefit Blushes and i love this palette but i constantly stray away from it to try new things so i want to bring it back into my routine - they're super pigmented and such good quality and it has the perfect array of shades, I'm covered for every possible occasion whether i want pink, subtle, coral or shimmery. It even has a hoola bronzer in there so I'm covered for all my bronzing/contour needs too.
