Monthly Favourites | July

I don't have a massive amount of favourites this month; I've not been wearing make up as much this month and when i have, it's been the pretty much the same look and I'm still using and loving a lot of the same products.

Monthly Favourites | July

Benefit Cheek Sweet Spot Box O' Blushes
I've been using this pretty much every time I've worn make up this past month. I don't have one set favourite blush; i literally pick a different one every time i use it, depending on what mood I'm in. Sometimes i swirl my brush in a couple of them and wear them together. I've also been enjoying using the Hoola Bronzer you get in it, as well as using the bronzer to warm up my face but I've also been enjoying using this a lot as an eyeshadow, just running it through the crease and it just adds some subtle definition to the eyes.

Eylure Eyelashes in No153
Firstly, excuse how gross these now look in the photos but I'm really loving wearing false eyelashes at the moment, I've reached that level where my make up just doesn't feel finished without them. I randomly picked up these Eylure lashes in Savers for a few pounds and i love them; they're so easy to apply, sit comfortably and i personally think they look really nice on. I have re-used these a few times too and with a little clean in between uses, they look as good as new each time I've worn them.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Outlaw
I opted for this in one of my Love Me Beauty bags because I've wanted to try the Kat Von D Liquid Lipsticks for ages so this was the perfect chance to try them without forking out the money first. I really like this; it's creamy, applies really easily, it has quite a thin formula which settles into the lips really nicely and without drying the lips out, and it dries down to a matte quite quickly. It lasts on the lips for hours and the shade outlaw is a gorgeous classic almost ruby red shade. I'm really impressed with this and it's made me excited to pick some more up when i go to London.

Mac Eyeshadow Quad
I adore my Mac quad and it's a palette i always find myself coming back to, it just has the perfect combination of eye shadows and along with applying Hoola in my crease, I've been pairing it with either Patina or Naked Lunch and using either of those all over the lid and they just create such a simple and subtle eye look.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I've actually not included this in the photo because it needs cleaning and it would just look a bit gross but I'm really enjoying using this sponge. I've always used cheap beauty blending sponges and never seen the point in spending more and since using this one - this blends my foundation in so beautifully, the sponge is quite firm yet bouncy - if that makes sense. I can honestly understand why so many people love and use this sponge.

A very small month favourites this month but I've either been wearing the same make up look or going make up free this month so I've not been trying out many new products.

What have you been loving this month?

  5. My brother bought me the Benefit Cheek Palette a couple of years ago & I still love it. It has all my fave Bene Blushers in there. The packaging is cute but a little bulky.
