Love Me Beauty | September

I have to say this month's Love Me Beauty options were very impressive as well as having the usual cosmetic samples available, they had a few PMD products available. Now i was a little late to checking the 'edit' so the item i would have preferred wasn't available so i decided to go with the PMD Kiss Lip Plumping System.

Love Me Beauty | September

The PMD Kiss Lip Plumping System retails for £125 and thanks to Love Me Beauty i got it for around £13 - now i personally wouldn't pay the full retail price for this, as I'm not particular fussy about having fuller lips as i actually quite like the size of my lips but whilst it was available on here for cheaper, i was curious to try it out anyways. That and the product i would have preferred was already gone so i just picked this for the sake of choosing something.

In the box you get: the kiss device, a lip plumping serum, two kissers (one small, one large) and USB charging cord. It's actually really easy to use; first, on clean dry lips you apply the Smart Lip Plumping Serum, then choose which setting you want (1 is a faster, 2 is a slower, low setting) hold it against your lip and hold for 10 pulses, move to the next part and repeat.

It's very straight forward and easy to use which is good - the pulses are just like little vibrations that suck onto your lip but it doesn't hurt in the slightest.

One thing that does annoy me a little bit about this product is that you only get 5ml of the Smart Lip Plumping Serum which is a bit stingy and considering the amount you pay for it, you'd think they'd give you a bigger size. I don't know if it's available to buy separately or not, but i have read that it can be used with any lip plumping serum thought so i suppose that's something.

I'm not very good at taking photos of my lips but it seemed a bit silly to include this on my blog and not actually show if it works or not - which as you can see from the photo, it quite clearly does. I did use setting 2 straight after setting 1, so i don't know if that impacted the results for setting 2 but it definitely did plump up my lips.

The plumpness didn't last too long, just a few hours - i don't know if the results become more prominent the more you use it but for a quick fix, it quite clearly works and It's super quick and easy to use. As i mentioned earlier, i personally wouldn't pay the full £125 for this but i love that Love Me Beauty have allowed me to try this out at a much lower price.

I'm really intrigued to see what they pull out of the bag next months - i was planning on cancelling my subscription once my 6 months was up but now I'm reconsidering.

  1. Oooh this looks interesting. I've only ever tried the S&G plumper gloss which felt weird! I couldn't imagine using this on my lips. Also, the Love Me Beauty box sounds fab, I might look into subbing to it x
