Monthly Favourites | September

Whilst i can't quite believe that September is over, I'm super excited that Autumn is finally here and Halloween is so so close. I have acquired quite a few new products this month so choosing my favourites was quite difficult, because i didn't want to get carried away with the new things I've been trying out but i feel like the products I've mentioned are the ones that have really stood out to me or that I've found myself reaching for the most.

The Ordinary High-Spreadability Fluid Primer
I can not say enough good things about this primer - its possibly the best primer I've ever tried. It has such a lightweight and silky formula and it leaves you skin feeling really smooth, it has a slight blurring effect which gives you the perfect base for the rest of your make up. I absolutely love this primer, it's super affordable and i can't recommend it enough.

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Cathedral
This is a gorgeous plummy brown shade and it's so pretty, i feel like it's the perfect kind of shade for autumn - it has a lovely creamy formula which is really lovely to wear and it dries down to a nice, comfortable matte. I also love the packaging for this, the studded casing is so quirky and edgy.

Proaura Vitamin C Serum Hyaluronic Acid & Astaxanthin*
This is a very expensive facial serum that my skin has grown rather fond of. It's a powerful serum created with the intention to protect the skin and to help stimulate Collagen which in turn helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It also brightens up tired complexions giving skin its healthy glow back. I really like this serum; it leaves my skin feel really hydrated and healthy and i definitely feel a difference in my skin when i don't use it.

Urban Decay Naked Palette*
It's no secret how much i love the Urban Decay Naked Palettes and whilst I've continuously used them over the years, i feel like I've really rediscovered my love for them again. Especially the original one, i took it to London with me and because it was the only palette i took with me, i relied on it for both day and night. It has a gorgeous selection of warm nude shades with both matte and shimmer finishes and it's one of those palettes that you can create such a wide variety of looks with.

Primark P.S Rest Sleep, Pillow and Body Spray
I have a lot of issues when it comes to sleeping, in that my brain doesn't like letting me sleep. I used to have a pillow spray from Avon which i loved, it didn't always send me sleep but i felt like it really did make a difference and helped me relax so when i ran out i was gutted (i no longer have an Avon Rep) but i found this Pillow Spray in Primark which is more or less the same thing except cheaper. It's scented with Lavender and Jasmine and together, those scents are so relaxing - it might be a psychological thing, in that i now associate those scents with being relaxed and sleep but i love this spray and i really hope it's a permanent range in Primark.

London
I don't know if I've quite mentioned this enough but i spent a few days in London this month and that in itself is a favourite for me this month, i absolutely loved getting away for a couple of days. It was so nice to just wander round, shop til i drop and eat my body weight in anything and everything. Whilst i was absolutely shattered by the time my trip was over, it was really nice just to do something different and take some time out of my everyday routine.

Les Mis
This is my most favourite thing of the month, possibly even of the entire year. Whilst in London, i went to see Les Mis on the West End and it was out of this world. Les Mis is one of favourite musicals and i have longed to see it on stage for such a long time and it did not disappoint, it's possibly the best theatre show I've ever seen and I'm just sad that it's over because i want to go watch it all over again.

What are some of your favourite things from this month?
