Monthly Favourites | October

This month has been so hectic for me; I've pretty much been working most of the month as I've been covering for other members of staff at work so I've pretty much spent the majority of October there. I've also not worn a lot of make up this month (thanks to my chin explosion) apart from my basic everyday items.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Exorcism
This is has quickly become my go to Autumn Lip; it's a gorgeous Blackberry/Burgundy plum shade and i just adore the formula of these liquid lipsticks. They're so easy to wear, really comfortable and they last a really long time. I've worn this on quite a few nights out and even with drinking it's still in place by the end of the night, the colour does fade down a little but it's not all that noticeable. I really rate these Kat Von D Liquid Lipsticks and would like to get some more shades from the range.

Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant
I bought this on a complete whim; i ran out of my moisturiser and just picked this up as a quick and cheap alternative. I'm quite lazy when it comes to moisturising my body but with this one I've found myself using it every day and night. It just leaves my skin feel so soft and I'm obsessed with the scent - normally, i find the scent of cocoa can be quite hit and miss but this is so nice, it's quite sweet but without being too sickly. I'm so glad i picked this up and i will definitely be repurchasing this as it's so cheap too.

Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara*
This mascara has had such mixed reviews in the beauty world but i really like it. I went in with quite low expectations despite all the many claims which i think worked out better for me. I just really like how it makes my lashes, the comb really grips the lashes, lengthens and separates them and it holds a curl so well. I've worn this through many shifts in work and for nights out and it more or less looks just as good as it did in the beginning. I don't think it's anything groundbreaking, there is definitely cheaper options that do a similar job but i just really like how it makes my lashes look.

Lush Sleepy Moisturiser
I have a pretty terrible sleeping pattern - it takes me so long to switch off and fall asleep. I've used this every night before bed since i got it in London and i love it. It doesn't guarantee you the perfect nights sleep but the lavender and oatmeal scent is so relaxing and my brains is learning to associate that with bedtime and sleep - it's a lovely moisturising in itself and it really does leaving you feeling relaxed.

Zoella Gingerbread Hungry Hands Hand Cream
I bought this in the Boxing Day Sales last year but i put it to one side whilst i finished up a different hand cream and completely forgot about it. I found it in my drawer a few weeks and i hate to admit that i love it. I'm pretty crap when it comes to hands creams - i buy them and keep them in my hand bag but i rarely use them so it takes me forever to use them up but I've been reaching for this multiple times a day. It's actually a really nice hand cream, it feels so velvety and soft and i absolutely love the Gingerbread scent - it perfect for this time of year. I'm just really sad that this doesn't exist anymore as it was a apart of the 2016 Christmas range.

  3. One of the girls I work with has been going on about the Lush Sleepy lotion for the last couple of weeks and I keep meaning to buy a tub of it to try!! The Zoella hand cream sounds good - I don't think she's done that kind this year though! I look a good smelling one too!

  4. Apart, perhaps the hand cream by Zoella, I would love try all the other products. Especially the Kat Von D lippy.
