Monthly Favourites | November

Monthly Favourites | November

It actually freaks me out that November is over and Christmas is officially upon us, it honestly doesn't feel that long ago since we was bringing in the New Year. I've decided that this may potentially be the last monthly favourites, as starting next year i'm on a bit of a mission to really sort through and hopefully use up more of my collection and i feel like favourites may get boring or repetative so i'm not 100% decided but that's what im considering at the moment. Anyways, onto this months favorites - i don't have a lot but these are the products that i've really been enjoying using this past month.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation
This is my new holy grail foundation - yes that's a very big statement but i am obsessed with it, i absolutely love the way it makes my skin look. It gives me a healthy and natural glow to the skin and just looks flawless. It's a medium coverage which is perfect for me, it covers everything i need it to and it feels comfortable on the skin, it's not heavy or cakey - it gives me such a flawless base everytime i use it. It's expensive but it's worth every penny and i will continue to repurchase this because i honestly don't want to find myself without it.

Rimmel Wonder Wing Eyeliner
I didn't expect much from this, ive read a few people say it's not very good and i only picked it up because my own eyeliner was running out and it was on offer so i figured why not. It has a pointed stamp on the end to help make achieving your winged liner ever easier - it does actually work, i honestly thought it would go horribly wrong and turn into a bit of a mess but it does actually create a decent wing. It's not the easiest to line your eyes with due to the shape of the stamp and it's not as black as i usually like but i do actually find it makes winging out your liner much easier.

Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Palette*
This little trio is no stranger to being on my favourites and i always seems to find myself coming back to it. It's just the perfect everyday palette - it has a highlighter (a subtle golden champagne tone), contour (a soft brown tone) and blush shade (a pink coral tone) and it's the perfect way to add subtle definition to the complexion. I use the contour as more of a bronzer and sometimes i even use the highlighter as eyeshadow, it's so versatile and i've used this so much since i bought it.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara*
I've really been discovering some great mascara recently first the Buxom Lash mascara then the Urban Decay Trouble Maker and now this. This has to be the most expensive mascara that i have ever tried but my god, it is good. It makes my lashes look fuller, it holds a curl and adds length and volume to my lashes whilst seperating them. It lasts really well on me and so far, theres been no clumping, smudging or flaking. The only downside is the price, its not something i could fork out every time i need a new mascara but i do really like it.

Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows
I have 3 of these in total but so far i've only used Diamond Dust and Smoky Storm and i absolutely love them - they're liquid eyeshadows with a gel like consistency, they're so comfortable to wear and they just make it really easy to get a really intense glittery eye look. I love all these glam glittery eye looks that are on trend right now but the thought of putting actual glitter on my eye lid scares me so this cuts all that out. They stay in place all night and i'm just obsessed with these, they're perfect for the upcoming christmas season but they're also something i can wear all year round.
